Floating De-Icer 1000 watts is thermostatically controlled with an automatic shut-off. The Styrofoam float is completely enclosed within a rugged plastic housing. The heating element is INCOLOY – the best known material to withstand water impurities. The cord exits from the top of the unit for added stability. 1000 watts, 120 volts with 15′ cord for use in ponds. Patented. Note: Guard should be used with rubber, plastic or foam tanks. This product is designed to float in the water tank. It is made with stability which means less likely to tip the tank. This is an ideal pond de-icer.
