About our wholesale Purple Carnations

Our bulk Carnations come packed 200 stems per box. Each box contains 8 individual bunches packed 25 stems. The stem length is on average 18-24″ and the bloom diameter is roughly 2-3″ depending on the variety and bloom stage. We ship our wholesale Carnations with the bloom mostly closed, so please allow 2-3 days in water to allow the bloom to open fully before use. Expected vase life of Carnations is well over a week but may vary due to environmental conditions. Proper care and handling is required to get the longest vase life of Carnations.

Caring for your Purple Carnations

Upon receipt, Carnations should be unpacked immediately – and any other cut flower – will need to be cut with a sharp, non-serrated knife on and angle and placed into a clean vessel filled with room temperature water. Using a flower preservative or flower food is recommended. Keeping your Carnations at room temperature will allow them to open. You can also give them a gentle fluff of the bloom once they are hydrated to expose more of the petals. Carnations may appear slightly wilted upon arrival, but that is perfectly normal and due to being in a box without water during shipping. Please allow them to hydrate for 4-6 hours to regain their vitality. The colors may slightly in the pictures due to photograph lighting and growing conditions at the farm. Bulk Carnations are perfect for Valentine’s Day School sales, Church fundraising, Caterers, Wedding and Event Planners. Most orders placed by 4pm can ship the same day and qualify for next day delivery.
